What are your hours of operation?
We are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM-Noon and Saturday we are here for deliveries only. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept walk-ins on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and Monday.
How far in advance should I book my wedding cake?
We recommended calling at least 6 months in advance to reserve your date. We usually limit the number of wedding cakes that we do each week, so please call early to check for availability.
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
Yes, an appointment is necessary for us to provide a personal consultation. This includes a complimentary tasting of up to 8 flavors. Please review our flavors and call us to schedule your appointment which are typically held on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
What is the difference between buttercream and fondant?
Buttercream is a more traditional icing made with egg whites, butter, sugar, and shortening and is decorated with spatulas, pastry bags, and a variety of other tips. Fondant is a sugar-based, cake coverture that can be easily molded and colored to give different designs. Fondant can take the form of different textures, matte surfaces, pearls, or edible elements like gold and silver.
When is the final payment due on Wedding/Grooms Cakes?
Final payment is required no later than two weeks before the date of the Wedding.
What flavor cakes and fillings do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of cake and filling options which can be found here. If you do not see a flavor you are looking for listed, please ask, and we will try to accommodate your request.
What are the prices for your cakes?
All cakes are priced at $4.50 per slice. The price may vary depending on the design. Unique drawings, tops, flowers, and other decorations are usually charged separately.
Since many of our cakes are custom designed, it is difficult to give accurate pricing over the Internet. If you have a question regarding the price of one of the cakes here on our website, or on any other matter, please call or visit our store and we will be happy to assist you.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we do deliver, and there is an additional cost which varies depending on the destination.
Do you charge a deposit?
Yes, to reserve your date a $100 deposit is required. This deposit is used to hold your date and secure any rented items such as plateaus, columns, plates, etc. If there are no rented items used then the deposit is applied to your total balance due for the cake.
If you have rented items then once they are returned your $100 is refunded in the form of a check. If any rented items are not returned or returned broken/damaged, then additional charges will be incurred.
